RSS Feed Reader is a user control that can be used to display an external RSS feed (Atom is not supported).

Sitefinity version compatibility: all versions. The control doesn't have CMS dependencies and it can be used on any ASP.NET website.

 

Features demonstrated on this page include:

  • > RSS feed caching - the feed is stored in the application cache for 10 minutes resulting in increased performance, and controlled load of the feed publisher.
  • > Displays full, partial, or no item description.
